Pretty cool feeling when you see your book is translated to Japanese!
Dave Hoover’s Apprenticeship Patterns (co-authored by Adewale Oshineye of Google) has just been translated into Japanese. First published in 2009, the book espouses going beyond technical expertise to hone soft skills and develop effective learning techniques to excel in your career as a software developer. Dave and Adewale cataloged dozens of behavior patterns to define essential aspects of the software development craft. The Japanese edition, like the English version, is available on Amazon.
Not that he can read a word of it, but still, it’s nice to know that Dave’s perspectives are embraced 6,000 miles away, just as they are here in the U.S.
